OPERATION

• attended (operator) and unattended (no operator) use
  Instant On feature (operator controlled)

• across the road radar (see figure below)
  22 degree horizontal angle (with traffic direction)
  -7.5 degree vertical angel (pointed down 7.5 degrees)

• multi-unit Ka band radar (34.3 GHz +/-100 MHz)

  -- remote control with speed display
  -- still camera (optional flash)
  usually mounted in the back of a truck, van, station wagon, or trailer.
  Often hidden from traffic (mounted to a vehicle that appears disabled).

• records violations with a photograph (includes speed, date, and time)
