Based on the capture of an attempted home invasion perpetrator that was eventually convicted for a multitude of crimes. Police responded immediately and in force to my call an individual was breaking into the home of an elderly man -- while the man was home sleeping. I stayed on the telephone with the radio dispatcher (describing the exact location of the break-in) while the area was surrounded, and when police moved-in I covered my side of the property (at the dispatcher's request). As police moved-in the suspect bolted in my direction until he saw me and turned around. The suspect was found seconds later hiding in bushes and captured without incident.
